Sam Petrucci is a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman, where he leads the Advice, Planning & Fiduciary Services team within the Private Wealth Management division. Based in New York, Sam oversees a team of in-house tax, trust, and estate attorneys, certified financial planners, and fiduciary specialists. Together, they advise clients on estate planning, tax planning, life insurance, philanthropy, and wealth education. Additionally, his team addresses the estate and trust administration needs of affluent families through the firm’s trust company. Before joining Neuberger Berman, Sam served as the Global Head of Wealth Planning and Chairman of the Trust Company at Deutsche Bank for five years. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Credit Suisse, where he co-founded and led the Wealth Planning Group in the United States. Sam is a nationally recognized expert in his field, having appeared on CNBC's "Power Lunch" and "Last Call". His insights have been featured in prominent publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Financial Times. Known for his innovative approach to advisory solutions, Sam has also lectured before numerous professional organizations and authored a variety of articles on wealth planning. Sam holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, a J.D. from Widener University School of Law, and an LL.M in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law.
