James Baker, CFA, Managing Director, joined the firm in 1999. James is a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Bolton Group, within the Private Asset Management division. Prior to joining the firm, James served as a portfolio manager for Ark Asset Management and a senior research analyst with Neuberger Berman. He started his career as a research associate with Bain & Co. in London. James holds a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Yale University, a JD from Harvard University, and a Master of Laws degree from New York University. James has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
