Michelle Giordano, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2004. Michelle is a Portfolio Manager for the Straus Group where she makes investment decisions, manages client relationships and raises assets. Prior to joining the Straus Group, Michelle was a Senior Research Analyst of Global Financial Services companies within Neuberger Berman's Global Equity Research Group for 17 years. Michelle complements the Straus Group with her extensive investment experience, strong analytical skills, deep relationships with company management teams, expertise in dealing with varying needs of high net worth and institutional clients and effective communication. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Michelle worked for JP Morgan for 16 years where she headed the Global Financial Services Equity Research team and received recognition as a top sell-side equity research analyst by Institutional Investor magazine, Greenwich Associates and The Wall Street Journal. Michelle worked on a number of IPO's, demutualizations and secondary offerings for insurers in North America, Europe and Asia from pitching deals through execution. She started her Research career as a Consumer Industry Analyst. Michelle earned both a BS and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.
