David Smith

David Smith is a Managing Director and Outsourced CIO Relationship Manager in the Private Wealth Investment Group. David joined NB Private Wealth in 2021 from Citi Private Bank, where he worked as a Senor Investment Counselor on the Metro New York Team, delivering customized investment solutions for Endowments and Foundations, Family Offices and Ultra High Net Worth Families. Prior to joining Citi, David held senior investment specialist roles at Bank of America, Commonfund, and J.P. Morgan, where he primarily focused on delivering solutions to Institutional Endowment and Foundation Clients. Before pivoting to relationship management, David held roles in Institutional Sales and Trading at Morgan Stanley, and as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at a convertible arbitrage hedge fund. David received a BA from Hobart College, and an MS in Investment Management from the Boston University Questrom School of Business.
